My name is Giuseppe Giampetruzzi and I am the new owner of Gusto, I have taken over the business in January 2023 from the previous owners.
I was born in Puglia – Southern Italy, I have always been passionate about cooking, I have started cooking from an early age with Mamma and Nonna, I have always known I wanted to be a chef, so I went to catering school and became a qualified chef. I have traveled and worked in Italy to learn Italian cuisine before coming to Guernsey to work as a chef, I have since went back to Italy however after starting a family we decided to make Guernsey our home, we have now lived in this beautiful island since 2018.
I believe that there is no need to over complicate food, fresh and good quality ingredients make the best dishes!
